FAQ’s and CONDITIONS OF SERVICE
1. How far in advance do I need a reserve my party date?
It is best to reserve your date as far in advance as possible. We generally reserve dates as much as 4-6 weeks in advance. However, if you call us up to one week in advance, and your preferred date and time is open, we are happy to reserve it for you!
2. Final Payment?
Please call with your RSVP total at least 3 days before your party. Balance is determined on your RSVP total. If we do not receive a call, it will be assumed that all invited guests will be attending your party. An invoice with your final balance will be emailed to you 2-3 days before the party for your approval. Please let us know of any questions or concerns before your party or it will be assumed everything met with your approval.
3. How many staff members will come to my parties?
Depending on the child’s age and the type of party, we send 1 staff member for 1-6 guests and 2 staff members for 6-10 guests which is included in the package. For safety purposes and to provide the best party experience, parties with an attendance over 15, including the birthday child, will require an additional staff member and an additional $45 fee.
4. How long are the parties?
Our hosted themes parties are 1 ½ -2 hours long based on the party package you choose along with the age of the children and the number of party guests. Extra time can be requested.
5. Where do you hold the party?
We bring the party to you! We lead our parties in the convenience of your home or in a reserved venue, such as a community center or country club party room. We ask that you provide sufficient space for us to set-up and entertain and to have an adult present at all times in case of illness, behavior issues or emergencies. If sufficient space and supervision is not provided, it can seriously affect the quality of your party experience.
6. What do I need to do before you arrive to set up for the party?
Just prepare your party room- clear out breakables in any area that your party guest will be playing, clear out any furniture that you don’t want the children to be around and provide a space large enough for your scheduled entertainment to perform. Also remove any toys that will distract children from the scheduled activities. We’ll take care of the rest! You don’t need to worry about anything during the event- we do it all for you!
7. What about food and beverage?
If your party includes dress-up items, we ask that these items be set aside while eating. (Eating food is not permitted during dress-up). It is up to you to provide the cake and food or drink you wish to serve.
8. How do I reserve my party?
Once a party is confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of $50 and a signed party contract must be received within one week to secure your reservation. The balance is due the day of the party. We gladly accept cash and personal checks made payable to Ronda Harder.
9. Will you take party photos and will they be used on your website?
Birthday Wishes will take photos during a party/event. In our contract you have the option to check a box if you do not wish to have pictures in our Birthday Wishes website. All photos that are used on the website will have no identity information.
10. What if I need to cancel or change the party date?
Your deposit is non-refundable and cannot be refunded for any reason. In the case of illness or emergency, we will gladly reschedule your party with another available date.
11. Is there a travel fee?
There will be a traveling fee of .445 per mile over a
30- Mile radius from Folsom
12. If a child doesn’t show up, do I still pay for that child?
Yes, your final RSVP count determines the price for you party, not the number of children that show up. This is the number we prepare crafts and favors for. You may keep the party favors for any no-shows. If a child chooses not to participate the party, you are still charged for your final count.
We make every effort to arrive at your event by the scheduled time. Occasionally, factors beyond our control affect out ability to do so. If a service ordered arrives 30 minutes or more behind schedule the client has the right to cancel the service and receive a full refund. If client accepts the service ordered, client will be responsible for full payment.
